The game concept is definitely very intriguing and different from other tower defense games I have seen. Being able to build your own environments/paths is unique and I like the variety of towers allowing for more strategy development from the player. One critique is adding different backgrounds to the grid for levels. The UI for the game is done well and is very clear with what you are purchasing and what each tower does. You can also possibly add more enemy types and enemies that have special requirements or features.

This game definitely works cohesively and has a lot of features for the player to experience and play through. Additions like the stats/ bios for different characters and the map to navigate and select through the different scenes are really great for the player experience. I like the various backgrounds across the different fights and feel that it fits in well. I also like the icons and colors used for buttons and health. One possible revision is to allow the player to choose any map they want and any units they want. Stun-lock with combos would also be nice as a mechanic.

This game is definitely a good concept for mobile and I like how you included a shop so that players have a reason to keep playing the game to get new upgrades or trails. The animations for attacks like laser bunnies are clear and give the player enough time to dodge. Some critiques are that it should be clear what purchasing "power ups" does, I thought it would give you the powerup in your inventory next time you play but it wasn't clear that it would actually upgrade that power up. It also isn't clear how many upgrades there are. Also changing the environment in the background would be nice to show visually how far the player got in a better way than just a number like high score.

The playing mat and UI is nicely done and matches what you would expect from proper mobile games. The complexity and strategy of the game is super intriguing and improves replay-ability. The reason for playing the game and the continuous nature of the game seems rewarding through being able to obtain new cards and makes the player think about what is best or how they want to play. Tracking the turns is a nice addition. For possible revisions, adding a clear roadmap for the game would be nice for the player experience.

The theme of the game definitely works together and I like the relaxed nature which fits the theme. I think polishing the enemy behavior would be good (making sure they never get stuck) and removing some unnecessary words from the UI like "Wood Collected for Current Level" to level "Current Wood" or "Wood Collected" because its clear that the other UI element is tracking the "Total Wood". The compatibility with Xbox gamepads is nice and I like the environments/backgrounds. Adding more powerups and abilities would be nice for possible additions.

The theme is quite interesting and the level design is unique. Making the help screen more interactive to test out different powerups/characters would be a nice addition but I also think your first level generally answers most game play questions. The slider/bar for the remaining "hp"/ time left to play the level is certainly unique and works well with the visuals. One critique is that the powerups/ability for the second character could also have a bar/indicator of remaining flight time. The enemy design is interesting but taking "damage" from enemies, especially repeatedly, is not that clear. I like the option to pause.

The inventory and resource management is really cool and adds a layer of complexity and thought to the game. I find your UI to be very nice by tracking health, score, ammo, and more. The UI for inventory management is very clear and nicely placed. The background and spikes match together well for the cave theme. One critique is to make the visuals extremely clear like when you are shooting the tiny mobs and the bullet visually is difficult to see and almost seems like you may miss. The overall mechanics and interactions are nice.

The game idea is definitely very unique and the added complexity by changing character states and abilities is very nice. The addition of the timer definitely makes a lot of sense and it is definitely fun for the player to try and achieve the best times across the levels by most efficiently trying to use the different abilities. I think adding some more environment backgrounds or textures would be nice although I do recognize the simplistic/old theme you are going for. One critique is that I think working with a camera a little more or adding a mini-map would definitely be good for the player experience.

Very interesting game idea and the visuals work really work together (color choice, map/level design, gameplay). The several levels and different game options are really fun and I really like the variety in being able to play different level types in one game. The UI is clear and the game mechanics and timings really add to the game feel. For possible revisions, you could implement some more strict game ideas from chess and maybe add more cool powerups/collectibles and abilities.

The objectives in the game are both interesting and generally relaxing to start. Typically, I prefer a use of icons in the UI because it might be more visually appealing and easier to see for the player like hearts to show health points instead of just a number. I also like the varying environments that the player can traverse through but utilizing a better background that matches the theme instead of a grey screen would be nice. One critique is making sure the game feels fair for the player and ramping up difficulty/expectations at an appropriate rate rather than having the player die too quickly or suddenly later on.

The design of the game through the level design and maps is very interesting. The different colors, obstacles, and usage of enemies works well. I like the improvements made between exercise 5 and 6 to make the game experience more smooth and balanced for the player. The different and unique level designs also give the game good replay-ability. One critique I have is to ensure that player feedback is absolutely clear, and the best way I find to portray that is with a good combination of visual and sound effects.

The game is definitely very nice and I like the camera angle of the player. The maps are very impressive and I like the revisions you did between exercise 5 and 6, making the maps more complete and immersive. I also like the variety of the environments, backgrounds, and sound effects between the scenes. One critique is that adding multiple enemy types/abilities would be nice.
